«OBOJ» is a restage of «On Behalf of Joy», created for Sibiu Ballet Theatre, Romania, in 2019. This new version, adapted for 6 dancers, aproaches the steps from a cheerful, fresh and optimistic perspective. The colorful costumes, inspired in 50’s Spanish and Italian fashion, contribute to give the choreography that casual and carefree spirit.

«The air feels different in the last times. Clouds are gathering, and that means there’s something we need to protect. On difficult times is essencial to know on behalf of what we move.»

The comunity spirit of traditional dances, it’s formations and attitude are the base for a short piece that tries to answer what we dance for.
