Concept
Inspired by the poems by Spanish writer Rafel León, this pas-de-deux explores the idea of falling into an agressive, passional and self-destructive perception of love. It was created for Misato Isogami and Oliver Chang, competitors in the well known International Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria, on it’s XXVIII edition. After that, Teatrul de Balet Sibiu included it in it’s repertory for Ballet Galas in the season 2018/2019.
